..and i’ve never felt like i’m just a little disabled until today. I’m walking to my car to get some food and my back starts hurting again. I think i’m comfortable admitting to myself that i’m just a little bit disabled. my back keeps me from doing a lot of things for any lenghty period of time. i can’t stand in one place for more than 10 minutes, can’t walk for too long. can’t sit in some chairs or positions without pain, basically my back sucks.

the scoliosis pain has gotten worse with age and this last 2 weeks with all the hard physical labor i’ve put into the house i’m feeling it more than ever. now my hands are feeling like i either have arthritis or carpel tunnel. the painting (holding the roller or making brush strokes) has really battered my right hand. so now i can’t make complete fist without pain or hold something up like my big coffee cup from starbucks either. so i gotts use both or my left hand. … and the work is not done yet.

my brother has help us soo soo much with the house i feel like i should be paying him wages for it.. lol. he’s really detail oriented which is great so i can ask him to do anything and feel confident that he will do as good a job as me. dennis has done his part too but he’s had to work at his job more than me and doesn’t do as well on less sleep. the excitement of home ownage alone is enough to propel me outta bed at 8 am but i guess not everyone is the same. after work today (and tomorrow) , i’m going to finish up w/ the paint job in the living room and the built in shelves. DARK GREEN!!! it was so scary in there yesterday. i was shaking in my socks as i put the paint on the walls but i just looooooooove that color green. i hope it doesn’t shock anyone to see the living room so dark and so GREEN. it’s a dark forresty green with just a wee bit brown for soothing ability. heh after we get new furniture in there, it’s going to be my favorite room in the whole house.
