.. they couldn’t tell. isn’t that just so frustrating?!!!
well, they said they could not see a penis, so they could not tell me w/ any amount of certainty that it was a boy, and they could not see labia, so they could not be sure about that either… but the technician said she was “leaning towards it being a girl”. she said it was just too small to tell right now. Then another doctor came in and took a look. he looked between the legs and also said he thought it might be a girl .. but neither are sure.
I’m going to start looking for girl names, but we’ll know for certain after the next level-2 u/s which will be in a month. they said the baby was too small to see the heart very well either. but they did see 4 chambers, that was it. everything else was completely perfect.
so I need to go back in 4 weeks so they can better check out the heart and a couple other parts they couldn’t see. i can’t hardly wait!
Wow, they do a lot more ultrasounds than they used to. It’s been 6 years since my last trip to the delivery room - some things have changed a lot.
Congrats, you guys! And have an especially happy second trimester. The best aspect of pregnancy, IMHO, by far.
Reply to springdewhey you, dammit! I wanted to know..but I guess you did to huh? Anyway, glad to hear everytyhing else is perfect with the baby’s health.ooooo i can’t wait!
Reply to grocerynippleshttp://www.babycenter.com/?adcode=DAR:ADV:YH3 is a way cool link if your pregnant. Not sure if you’ve seen it before.
Well I think it’s a girl too. But that’s the vibe I’m getting.

Reply to phoenixcoffeethanks guys! yeah, i’m surprised that they want me back in 4 weeks for another level-2. i always thought they only did one. I think my ob just jumped the gun and sent me for the scan too early, it seems. I just hope we don’t get hit w/ the bill since cigna will only pay for one. those things are really expensive!
anyway, 2trimester hasn’t beeing going as well as 1st trimester so far. i never had morning sickness and very little fatigue compared to what i’ve heard other women go thru. Today is day 6 w/ a splitting headache and it’s beginning to wear thin. If i wake up w/ it again tomorrow, i’m sure i’ll break down in tears before leaving the house for the hospital.
this kid is not even born and is already giving me headaches! LOL! :)
