We accomplished a lot yesterday. I did 2 loads of laundry, dennis mowed the front yard (which is really big), we went to our third birth preparedness class and finished painting the changing table FINALLY!!! I cleaned up our bedroom just a bit also.
Today we have our last big ultrasound at 1:30pm, more laundry to do and have to run errands to lowes, publix, and babies r’ us. We’re getting there.
We both are taking tuesday and wednesday off from work just so we could dedicate time to getting these kinds of things done. And I wrote up a schedule for us for this long weekend. that’s the only way we can get anythign done. we have to follow a plan or we’ll end up sleeping in till 4pm like we always do and then just procrastinate all day and end up getting nothing done. so far we’re on track with the schedule - we should do that more often actually.
on the agenda for today:
get up at noon (i’m up early cuz i just couldn’t sleep anymore but i’ll be back in bed soon for the last hour and a half - getting tired)
go to u/s appt.
go to lowes, publix, bbr’us
do about 4 more loads of laundry. (we got a lot of dirty stuff)
clear out living room
sweep the entire house
assemble changing table
mop living room
pack some of our bedroom stuff away.
geez, i’m getting tired just looking at the list! We have just about as much to do tomorrow. too. except we have to drive all the way to miami and back first to run another couple errands down there.
The baby’s room is really looking much more finished. still need a few things tho.
