what i mean is I need to tie loose ends at work before I go on leave. I have a small project to add something to a script here i volunteered for 3 weeks ago. not hard, just gotta do it. and I want to do more cleaning up with email and “finalize” things. There will always be room for improvement so it will never be truly finalized. :-/ hoping to do most of it all this week if things remain slow.
dinner last night turned out really good. even the ocra which even tho it was messy cuz i was rushing, it was real good. I can’t believe dennis filled his plate twice! where does he put it all? :-O . die another day was ok. not sure i like the fact that james bond made a couple mistakes and let himself get caught twice.. james bond is not supposed to make mistakes!
I cringed when i saw haley berry in it. I don’t like her so much but she did a good job, imo, so i got passed that but the scenes with madonna.. ugh! I don’t think she’s any good at acting. even small scenes – i would rather be spared her “performance”. seeing actors i don’t particularly like is enough to ruin a movie for me. ie, i hate HATE! martin that black comedian i forget his last name. i can’t watch any movie with him in it. BLEH!!!
saw catch me if you can on sunday. now that movie was good despite leonardo dicaprio. i was suspicious about him in it but he did good.
enough dilly dallying… lemme see if i can be productive today.
Oh geez, let me tell you. I hated Die Another Day! Ugh! Catch me if you Can on the other hand, I really liked…but I’m sure that had a lot to do with Tom Hands and Christopher Walken..:)
I dont know why, but this post made me think of fried pickles. Mmmmmm I want some now.
catch me if you can had a great story line too. and i love watching movies based on true stories. I don’t think anyone could get away with impersonating a pilot, doctor, professor, and lawyer these days tho. those were innocent days back then. but still amazing that it happened. that man was a genious. criminal, but still a genious.
fried pickles?! that’s a new one for me. i wonder how those are prepared. would be interesting to try to make some.
They are actually rather easy to make. Just take regular hamburger dill chips. Batter them with a basic corn meal based batter and then fry until golden.
They are best served with a side of ranch dressing for dipping (though I bet bleu cheese would be good too).
sounds real good. i think i’ll try it next weekend.
