back at work again.

I realized last night what the nurse was talking about when she said when your belly gets hard blah blah ..it’s a contraction. even tho i can’t feel any pain or discomfort from it, i kept getting it every time i got up to visit the can. really rock hard. I don’t care. D-day is coming soon so a few conx here and there is a good thing, imo. as long as it’s not real labor. did get a couple that hurt tho.

anyway, i’m back at work. working. sortof. not much to do other than go thru all this useless email and decide what to remove next.

The fam is throwing me a baby shower in miami on sunday. I wonder who will show up, and what they will get the baby. we have a lot of things already, but still need a few practical things like diapers (but not newborn diapers), clothes, toys, a swing. I think we’ll need to get a basinet too cuz the pack’nplay is too big to move from our bedroom and back on a daily basis. that thing won’t even fit thru the doorway without collapsing it first.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the pack n’ play, it was about 2 inches too wide to fit through the door. It may not be too big of an issue, because for at least the first few weeks she will probably only sleep in your room anyways.

yeah, that’s true. I figured I’d want to keep her near me even when i’m out in the kitchen, or living room so i’d want a more mobile bed to put her in. pack’n play is for our bedroom. she’ll be sleeping with us for a while and maybe not using her regular crib much at all first few months. maybe the baby monitor is enough. dunno tho.
