Today my coworkers threw me a suprise baby shower during our weekly sa meeting. that was so SO cool. I was totally surprised. I can’t believe you guys pulled that off. everyone was in on it including dennis. I CAN’T BELIEVE DENNIS KNEW ABOUT IT!! no wonder he was being so top secretive about the car seat i ordered.
He asked me to cancel the order after i told him i had ordered it from my registry on friday but wouldn’t tell me why. It was too late to cancel so I went on the registry today to see what the status was on it and noticed several things had been ordered from it. :-O I was bewildered to say the least. I thought all gift giving was over by now. so i thought it was either A) the registry people screwed up yet again or B) dennis’ family was going all out on us. I voted B. Imagine my surprise 15 minutes into the meeting when kristin, jen, renee bust in with a big ol cart filled with goodies and food.
Now i have one carseat here, and another on the way. LOL! … to think i was all worried about not getting one in time. now we’ll have 2! One of them will need to go back. maybe i’ll just refuse to accept the one i ordered. easier that way.
I loved all the gifts including boppy pillow, kicknplay, activity gym … it’s all fantastic!
to all you people i work with. THANK YOU! that was so awesome!
OMG! How frekaing strange!! I just woke up from a 2 hour nap (I was exhausted!) and I had a DREAM about you!! I dreamt that a few days before you gave birth, they found a “little” surprise! You were having TWINS! A girl AND boy! Weird! I remember thinking in the dream, “what would be a cute name to right with Jada, for a boy??” Hehe..keep the carseat for now…JK!

Reply to chinasunflwryeah, that would work IF we would ever even dream of using dennis’ car. he’s got a geo metro and that is just far too small. we’ll be using the honda exclusively when traveling with baby. later when we get a minivan, and have to upgrade to toddler seat, then we might do that one for each car.. or just use the minivan when traveling and not the honda. cheaper that way. :)

oh, you know we’ll take anything anyone is willing to part with. most of the clothes we have so far is all used. pretty good condition stuff. so, whatever u got and want to get rid of, consider me the salvation army lady. heehee
