i’m on a roll… so what’s one more entry, eh?
ok so i haven’t told anyone that we haven’t taken Jada to the doctor’s since she was 3 weeks old cuz we had a big problem with her medical insurance ( or LACK thereof). We fouled up (still i like to blame dennis cuz i was in no state to think straight) and we never formally added her to our insurance plans at work within the alotted 31 days after birth. I had to beg and grovel to our benefits department to add her now and the wait was like 5 weeks before we could get an official answer to our requests.
lucky for us she never got sick but her immunization shots are late.
never NEVER try to raise a kid without good medical insurance. at 3 weeks of age she got her first shot (hepatitis B) That’s ALL we went there for that day and the bill they stuck us with was $255 !!!!
lucky for us we didn’t have to pay it. whew!!!

gotta go back to babies ‘r us today AGAIN
these fools got her name wrong on a few of her pictures that have a border with her name on it. last time i checked, her name was not madison raye. 
I spent 100 tablas on these photos yesterday. MY GOD! expensive! but i just had to. they’re the first professional pics of her and nobody not even the grandparents have a nice picture of her yet. they came out “OK” but nothing to enter in any contests or anything. She refused to smile in any of them and most were close to tears. oh boy, poor baby.
I’ll be destributing these soon along with my crafty announcements.
If you don’t get one, believe me it’s not cuz you were forgotten, but rather that the price was like a large gold nugget for each sheet of prints! because of the borders i got with a couple the sheets some turned out as much as $20 bucks a pop! really up there. I bought these mainly with the grandparents and great grandparents in mind but there will be enough for her uncles and aunts. :)

more stuff.
someone recently said “when i ask you how things are going you always say ‘oh it’s going fine’ but when i read your LJ, it sounds like you’re ready to send the baby back.LOL well i guess i tend to hang my dirtly laundry out on LJ. (as much as i can without getting in trouble anyway.. i talk about my frustrations ( very sensored tho since so many people might read it ) i can’t dig up the dirt on fam on here. heehee but that’s ok.
anyways being a mom is rewarding. Jada is not an easy baby. not having had any other babies to compare with, i can only ‘compare’ with what i’ve heard, seen w/ baby cousins and have been told and I think Jada is far from laid back and “easy”. she’s high maintenance so far but i find it easier i guess cuz i know what she likes and what she doesn’t and, hell!, she’s my baby so she’ll always be perfect in my eyes anyway.
…. again… i lose where im going with this… too long winded….. i’m probably losing the audience…. ramble ramble ramble… ramble…
OH! Yeah! ok, well anyway she has good days, bad days and i don’t usually come on here and rant and rave about the good days. sooooo… please don’t think i hate motherhood cuz i don’t. I’ve really eased into the role well and I LOVE my baby to death and I love being a mommy to her. :) in general, i’ve never liked kids but this one’s a keeper. 
of course, cuz she’s perfect and she’s mine. heehee
