huggies diapers leak down the leg. pampers diapers leak up the behind and down the leg. i’ve only found one cheep brand sold at target called loving touch that’s really good and doesn’t leak but i’m trying to use up the last of the ‘bad’ diapers so we’re not throwing our money away.
Our mattress has suffered 3 smelly spills so far. time to get smart and line it with something, eh? I’ve had to change jada’s clothes 4 times! last night. unbelievable. If only i could think different and just put these diapers in a bag and give them away or something. “saving a few dollars is not worth this mess” … buuut… i just can’t bear to see money go down the drain like that sooo… i’ll just keep being silly i guess and continue to clean pee and poop off everything until they’re used up. :-\
definitely going to return the unopened packages tho.
Humm, Im suprised you’re having a problem with the huggies, those seem to be the only ones we never had a problem with. Oh well guess differnet babies are shaped differently.
I totally understand you not wanting to get rid of the “bad” diapers. We have used crappy diapers for extended periods of time just because we didn’t want to waste the money. *laugh* Anyways I hope things are going good for the three of you :)
Reply to squeaky19huggies leg inner elastic is flimsy, imo. but the problem is that size 1 huggies are WAAAAAY narrower than size 1 pampers. too narrow so sometimes the poop doesn’t get contained in there. loving touch “no name” brand surprised me actually. they’re low in price and i was skepticle but i’ve heard it mentioned often on this board i go to so i decided to try it.
they are like huggies except the inner leg elastic looks better and they are longer and a little wider. they also have the elastic around the waist like huggies. :) haven’t had a spill with them yet [keeping fingers crossed]
