man, i’ve been having joint pain since yesterday so today when i got up i took a percocet.. MAN! i’m feeling freaky! :-O
When i was a teenager i took piano lessons with this lady in miami (her name was elvis, heehee) and i learned pretty fast.. i took lessons for about 4 years with her. every year we’d go to the university of miami and get tested by these piano authorities and i’d pass 2,3 years in one shot and was maybe 1 ‘piano year’ away from ‘graduating’ and being able to teach piano to kids myself. i got tired of it by then, tho, and stopped playing. later i sold my piano and used the money for other shit i wanted. that was years ago but for the last couple years now i’ve been yearning to play again. now i’ve got space to put a piano :) unlike my apartments. But pianos are pricey.. i sold mine for 900 bucks and it was already used when i got it. i should never have sold it. ![]()
YES, every now and then, I get the urge to play again. Of course, with school there’s no way. I have an electric piano, but you know it’s not the same. If you can, I think you should do it!
Reply to grocerynipplesyeah, u only live once and life is short to boot. i should look around for used pianos. i’ve kept EVERYTHING from when i was into it.
Reply to Tania (digsite)HEHE, me too! I think even my first piano book…well..actually i might’ve thrown those out. But I kept them for a really long time. I have to thicker books tho, you can have those!
