i’m away from LJ for 2 days and i have so much to catch up with… ..at least tons of posts to read.
Well, this weekend was productive. i’m almost done christmas shopping. I was going to be the usual yearly grinch that i am and not get any gifts for anybody but dennis, my grandmother (and jada of course) as usual because we’re still trying to get outta this hole but, hey, i have been feeling festive and a handful of gifts won’t kill us. I’m sure next year i will be a grinch again. :/
Today we took Jada to gardens mall (thanks jason!) and she got a picture taken with santa. The picture came out awesome. she smiled and everything. it was amazing. And that santa clause was the best i’d ever seen. he came up and talked to jada before the picture and she DIDN’T SCREAM! i was so amazed!
I’m working on getting it scanned right now actually. The quality of the print sux ass, i’m afraid to say. over exposed whites.. jeez. so i’m trying to fix it as much as i can. i’m getting real tired now so dunno if i’ll get around to posting the pic.
YAY!! Im so glad to hear that the santa stuff worked out :-D. He is just the best, if Santa is real, then he must spend December at the Gardens mall :)
Reply to squeaky19Every year for a while now i’ve been completely broke because of christmas, getting everyone in G’s family a gift! This year won’t be so overwhelming, although I haven’t even started! That’s ok tho, i have Friday off so I might go then. I’m definately going to go see you, wish it could be actual Christmas, but that probably wouldn’t go over to well with my mother if i wasn’t here, so maybe New Year’s? I haven’t gone out to party for New Year’s in long time and honestly have no interest in it. I’d rather spend a nice evening with family and friends at home or something. Do you guys have any plans for New years?
Reply to grocerynipplesno plans yet. Dennis’ family do the typical american thing; early dinner, then bed. Usually Nena or Nini do something so we’ll probably go there afterwards. You’re very welcome to come tho! would be great to have you around. But if they all don’t have anything planned, we’ll just stick around home with the kid. you’re welcome to come to that too. :)
