OK, so we decided to stay in a hotel today instead of my friend’s vacant house out of convenience… at least here we have a tv, a bed, and it’s 10 minutes from the house as opposed to 40 minutes.. this way we can go to the house to check up on the workers easily.. we’ve left the dogs in the yard all day and in the garage tonight.

so…. i make a reservation for a room closeby online yesterday … we get there at noon today and the lady behind the counter says “oh you just made that reservation… we probably won’t have a room for you.” I’m like WHAT?!! she goes “i definitely don’t have a room for you right now, maybe later tonight… check in time is at 3 but i won’t have one till after 4 anyway maybe not even till later then that”. I said, “i have a 5 month old in the car, i need to feed her, and you’re saying that MAYBE you’ll have a room in 4 hours, maybe not!!!!?? ” It took 3 tries to get a definite timeframe/yes/no from her. So i asked if she would refund my money if i found another hotel? she says “that’s between u and travelocity” so i told her we were leaving to find another hotel.

sooo we find one just down the street from there for twice the price but we pay it anyway and settle in. i call travelocity to cancel with hotel #1 and they call the hotel back to confirm that there’s no room.. THE LADY LIES TO THEM AND SAYS “YES HER RESERVATION WAS CONFIRMED AND SHE HAS A ROOM FOR 3PM CHECK IN TIME.” !!!!!!!!!! huh!! what!! what the fucking fuck!!?? so travelocity said they won’t refund the money to me. the hotel’s penalty for canceling without cause is one night’s stay… which for me is the full amount.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!! I asked to talk to her supervisor and she called the hotel back as well, got the same story and said that it wasn’t up to travelocity, it was up to the hotel to refund the money but that they refuse to because the room was there to be had. WHAT A FUCKING LITTLE LIAR! I AM SOOO UPSET.. i called that lady from hotel#1 and told her off, that BITCH! I have her manager’s name and number and i’ll be going there tomorrow to talk to him AND dispute the charge w/ my CC.

I would just love to get this little bitch fired. I can’t wait till tomorrow. she was so rude to me.. while i was standing there trying to make sense of not having a room available to me, she was directing everyone that called with questions about anything to “the website”. she didn’t want to answer anybody’s questions and she was acting like she was overworked and totally hated her job .. I told what a huge inconvenience this was and that my baby was in the care, hungry and asked whether i could use her lobby to feed her and she said “NO”! oh my god i’m going to burst from the anger brewing just telling this story.

anyway.. the floors are coming along well. tomorrow they stain the grout and seal the floor. While they finish their work, i’ll be busy getting even with that sorry looking hag. wish me luck.
