it’s been a while since I visited LJ. this past week has been very busy. I took the day off from work today but it didn’t start out so well. I asked dennis to get jada when she started crying.. all i wanted to do was shower and wash my hair and not start the day off taking care of jada ON MY DAY OFF but he had a problem with that and we started arguing. oh hell… it’s supposed to be MY day off not HIS so i thought i could at least relax during the first part of the day at least. Is that too much to ask? I just got pissed off and stormed out of the room and took care of jada myself.
After an hour i was just getting more and more pissed off. It was fucking uncomfortable to be half dressed, hot, sweaty, dirty, itchy and not being able to fucking take a fucking shower. FUCK! lol… but just as i was about to storm back in there and tell him off he came out of his cave and took over.
it saved his life. LOL!
Speaking as a clueless man, I think I have a good idea. You guys should set a baby schedule. You know day’s where one parent will be more willing to take care of the screaming baby. That way in the future there will be no argument. On your days off, split those, and then on days you both work, work it out so one will take hours X-X and the other takes the other hours.
Just a suggestion, feel free to call me an idiot and ignore my advice. Remember I am just a clueless man.
Reply to squeaky19when we both have the day off i get her in the morning because he sleeps so much it’s easier for me to get up in the morning… and then later through the rest of the day we both take turns or we both just sit and play with her, whatever… but today he had to work and jada woke up around 10:30. I was about to step in the shower and i just wanted him to take her till about 2.. 4 measly hours. that was a problem so i said “just till i’m done showering” that was STILL a problem. yeah, he can be a jerk and a half especially when he’s half asleep but he finally came around.. I’m not mad at him anymore, just wanted to let out some steam.
