omg, i’ve eaten far far too much for lunch.. this feels.. not so good. bleh… 
i haven’t talked about my yard in a while.. lol the work continues to move forward. tree pruner dude wasn’t able to make it last monday so he rescheduled for this coming monday.
I’d like to have all that finally complete before next weekend rolls around. We’re aiming to resod on the 23rd. if I can locate the sod fast enough. now that a month has passed since i cleaned out every last weed, they are coming back full force. so i need to clean it up again but shouldn’t be as hard since these are small in comparison to what was there before.
We added a new sprinkler head and moved a second one.
our new patio set should be getting delivered tomorrow. FINALLY! a place for us to sit down outside!!!!!
Try laying down sheets of plastic and covering them with a little dirt to hold them down wherever the weeds are growing. This will help you be sure that all the roots/etc are dead before you lay the new sod. I dont remember where I saw this tip, but it made perfect sense. Heck ripped up garbage bags woudl probably work.
Reply to squeaky19nah.. all that’s not really necessary. I could actually lay the sod on top of those weeds that are growing but i’m too anal to do that. the thick sod should smother them all out.
