my GOD i ate soooo much. the scale this morning says that I gained 2 pounds. You’d think I would feel bad about it but, hell, it was all good. I had my fun.
The BBQ on sunday was good. I thought we’d have tons of leftover food but only thing left were 3 burger patties. EVERYTHING went bye-bye. ….except for the dessert which i ate the last of last night. There is still berry pie left but THANK GOD for my gutt that i dont’ like it or I would have eaten that too.
my brother came over with his kids (was his first time at my house) and that was cool. I only wish he looked like he was having a better time. I think he just felt weird around dennis’ family who he doesn’t know at all. Anyway, we’ll have to have another getogether with just us soon. maybe after jada’s bday or something. He was playing his music really loud which I didn’t mind too much but it bugs me that he’s always pushing people to listen to it. Yeah, he’s talented. sure, the music he’s written and composed is great and all but I would like to just sit and talk about stuff and not have to feel forced to listen to his freakin music ALL the time. jesus.
LOL, it was a bit much when we didn’t really have a choice but to listen to it REALLY loud. Ah well. Hey, did u watch Silent Amy yet?

I gotta say tho some of the acting left a lot to be desired but the main characters were OK. especially liked amy and the guy w/ the scarred face. the effects were awesome. We’re really impressed overall. sortof reminded me a little of Legend with tom cruise

I think it’s pretty impressive to think that he and a team of kids who are all younger than him made this movie…:) The colors and the whole “look” of the movie was the result of hours upon hours (3 months worth) of color correcting the whole thing…pretty cool eh?

Reply to osxaltivecIt kinda bothered me how he and his kids seemed to come in and just take the place over. I felt like he gave us and all the guests two options: either sit outside and melt or sit inside and go deaf.

Reply to grocerynipplesI hear you. i decided then that since it was his first time at our house, I didn’t want to do anything to make him feel unwelcome. (he’s sensitive that way) but subsequent visits I wouldn’t let him do that. I’m lucky my ear drums still operate.
