it’s a pain but it’s sortof a blessing in disguise. I find since i’ve been doing this I have a clearer picture of what i’ve done. not just a muddled mess in my mind. Usually I feel like I haven’t accomplished a single thing during the day and since I usually end up not doing any ids at all, I feel i’ve done nothing. . But now it’s all a bit clearer to me. ids is not a good guage to see if someone is working hard or not.
On the down side, it’s time consuming and a bit of a pain to have to do it. and unfair, I think, when most people are doing it, but some others are not. And I’ll bring this up to the boss too. If some people are exempt from doing it, then I won’t anymore either.
In other news the lawn (front and back) is getting sprayed as I type. I’m happy something is getting done about it finally. Time will tell if the damage will be reversed. [keeping my fingers crossed]
i’ve got pics of the damage (here) It’s amazing how much of it has died in only 3 weeks.
i hate it when things go wrong, and i can’t fix them. It angers me more I think that I can’t fix it myself, than it does that it went wrong to begin with.
I have been reading your entries lately and I haven’t been resonding much. Sorry about that. I think it’s sorta weird to say the same thing everyone else always says. you know.
Reply to orions_muse“it’ll be ok”, or ” hang in there”… But I am reading and listening to entries, just so you know. I hope you have a lovely day. Im sure it’s relief to have your lawn taken care of now. One less worry…
thanks!
yeah, you’re totally right about not being able to fix it myself. Especially cuz i know that if I knew what to do, it would cost me a fraction of what i’m paying these people cuz I’d only have to pay for the chemicals instead of their inflated prices and labor and all of that.
but, like you said, it is a huge relief. I’m trying to think of this now as an investment on the yard.. or, like my hubby put it, as a means to protect my investment in the lawn.
Reply to Tania (digsite)Geez, that’s crazy! Hope it gets better soon..
