So our beautiful little daughter was nice enough to push our laptop off the table when Dennis wasn’t looking.. it smashed open the wireless pcmcia card, and somehow fried the HDD. I knew I had gotten an in store warranty for it but it expired in July. WHY COULDN’T SHE HAVE BROKEN IT BEFORE THEN!!! So we bought a new hdd for it yesterday and an adapter to try to get the data off the old drive. I tried and tried.. that damn thing won’t spin up and just click click clicks loudly ..
About a years worth of quicken data entry completely went down the drain.. omg, i’m so devastated. It’s going to take forever to start again. At least I have a year and a half backup copy of it on another machine. 
Ok, that just scarred me enough to use my gmail account to backup all my really important docs.. :)
