No, that big “X” on the menubar does not mean “stop loading”. It means “DELETE”! Never ever click on that button especially when you have your entire INBOX folder highlighted.

thankfully for me, our internet connection was choppy this evening and it didn’t go thru. After a few seconds I gave up trying to “stop loading” my email.
