obsessed..

Well all you folks who have had babies or are trying or have tried know what it’s like to be obsessed with it ESPECIALLY if you’re TRYING to get pg. Well, we haven’t started trying yet but this is consuming all my thoughts these days. LOL!! and it’s driving D looney, i’m sure.

I made an appt. today with a new obgyn. i’m sooo excited!!! I decided to try to have a vbac with the next one. That means *not* having a repeat csection.

In the meantime I’ve been doing some major cleaning up around the house. I took a break from freecycling stuff for a bit but I’ll get restarted soon, i hope. I’m kinda stuck with selling my brother’s bedroom set, though. Btw, if anybody local is interested..

I have a mess in our house now because of all the empty boxes and computer parts all over the place and furniture sitting in the dining room. I setup my fish tank again and bought a new hood and light kit so we have so much CRAP all over right now. So I’d like to get that all cleaned before I start pulling more crap outta the garage including the computers we’re giving away.

Shocking News..

coffee table

i think this is a pretty nice piece so I figured I’d mention it here. I’m freecycling this one. … in case anybody’s interested, it’s free. shoot me email to tmorell@myquadrant.net if you’re interested.

Bedroom Furniture for Sale!

In case anybody local is interested..

http://miami.craigslist.com/fur/73796676.html

I decided not to ebay this one… not unless I get no takers for a while, anyway. I really want to avoid the newspaper too. :)

J’s new furniture finally finalized. G was nice enough to pick it up and haul it up here for me. What a nice guy! :) So now I’ve got to sell my brother’s old furniture to make room for J’s new stuff. I wanna paint the room first, tho, and put cargeting down too. Can’t wait!

feeling real frustrated over here..

so I bid on (and won) a used furniture set on ebay for Jada/next kid. Only 150 for 3 pieces, it’s a steal. The auction ended yesterday at about 4pm and soon after the lady sent an email thru ebay asking to let her know “how i want to be contacted so we can arrange for pickup” well, I’ve sent 3 emails so far and still no reply. The second one was to ask if something’s up with her paypal email address cuz my payment to her is still “unclaimed” which leads me to believe her address on there is not valid anymore. Also, her last time of activity before putting this sale on was 2003.

Or she could just be irresponsible about checking her email and replying. Sure, she probably doesn’t have a computer attached to her hip like some of us but I still can’t shake this feeling that this sale is never going to reach completion.

ugh.. :( I really wanna get that set too.

So my husband thinks i’ve gone crazy…

D seems to be having some kind of decluttering crisis. Ever since i discovered freecycle and have rediscovered the joys of freeing myself of unecessary items, I’ve been finding new homes for things we don’t need or just never use. And he’s made it sound 3 times as though I’ve gone off the deep end or something. Honestly, I think he finds comfort in clutter. He thinks i’m insane to suggest it but there IS such a thing as using clutter for comfort and even acting like you’re addicted to it. Ever heard of hoarders? Some people just don’t feel comfortable in a neat, clean, and sterile environment. I feel that way too, I don’t like ’sterile’. I like a little bit of clutter, but my thresshold is a LOT lower than his.

what have we really gotten rid of anyway? nothing we need, nothing we’ll even ever miss. so why the anxiety? I mentioned I wanted to sell my piano yesterday and he freaked. It’s my piano for christ sake, and I haven’t used it in months. So, ok, fine. I won’t sell it. jeez..

next i’m freecycling 3 computers, a monitor (maybe selling a second) a coffee table and then donating tons upon tons of clothes to charity. I can’t wait to get to the clothes!

NO I’M NOT LOSING MY MIND, DENNIS! WE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS MONTHS AGO!!!

oh! and we found some really cool used toys J just loves. AND we bought her a boating life vest for when we go to the keys for 10 bucks! is that cool, or what?

sigh… so in other news.. My first ebay sale went very well. I sold my 1gb memory card for 66 bucks. that was way more than I expected to sell it. What’s shocking is that other BRAND NEW NEVER OPENNED cards were getting lower bids than mine. I’m sure having spruced up my ad helped but still. why bid more on mine than on another brand spanking never used one? This is why i’m not in marketing, I guess.
