let’s see.. .what’s been happening in tania-landia. hmmm… Well, my freecycling has remained in remission. I’m sorta stuck on this furniture I’m trying to sell. I’ve had about 5 interested parties but nobody who would actually come out to see it.
I think I might have to resort to advertising it in the pennysaver soon. So the house is still a mess and DIRTY and the furniture clutter in the dining room is not helping either.
what else… J has learned a couple new words. nana (or banana), bye-bye (she’s used to just say ‘eye’ for bye), look (i think), what’s that (i think) lol! ‘cheese’ and ‘there you go’. what else… We had her evaluated for developmental problems because she wouldn’t say mor than 7 words. They told us she was 8 months behind in speach skills and that we should have her fully evaluated which usually takes an hour or more. I still haven’t called. :/ The girl who saw her couldn’t give her credit for stuff we say she does but she wouldn’t do right then so she’s probably really only 4-6 months behind. the girl said that if she is only 6 or less months behind, they wouldn’t recommend anything more than a few tips. I really do think she’s fine and just needs her parents to sit with her more and teach her things. ahem.
what else… I gotta go back to the dentist today to find out why my filling replacements from last month STILL hurts. I haven’t been able to chew on my right side for 5 weeks. I was hoping it would just fix itself but that’s just not going to happen. after that it will be some shopping for me (alone) while D stays at home with J. It’s gonna be nice to get out by myself for a while.
well, that’s it. more later. CIAO!
regarding the dental pain — go see dr wong in plantation. he is the best. ask will mesquita! :)
and regarding J — my little nephew seriously did not start talking until he was 4. he would say a word now and then, but he didnt start talking until he went to pre-school and had to communicate with other kids.
now that he is 6, he talks perfectly.
i think J is fine. she sure is gorgeous! :)
Reply to geekychick1thanks! Yeah, I think so too about Jada but there’s always that thought in the back of my mind that’s a little worried. If she DID have a problem i want to catch it as early as possible so we can do whatever we can to correct it. She really only needs more one on one time and tlc from mom and dad. :D She’s always been really good playing on her own but i think we’ve taken advantage of that too much.
well, I go to doctor rosenberg who came highly recommended from folks at verio too. He’s real close and so far has done a great job with both dennis and me. This was the last of the work I needed. He thinks it was a bite problem so he just had be bite down on that carbon paper thingy and drilled down on a couple places and says the pain should go away in a couple of days so we’ll see.
