bra size: apparently still in denial

Before getting pregnant and my boobs swelling up to a E cup, I used to be a C but I’d buy B cup bras. One size smaller always felt more snug and comfy for me so that’s the way I’d do it.

After getting pregnant and my body started changing, I bought 4 bras ranging from C to E. Even today I can still wear the C’s. They are maternity bras so they ran large.

So 2 years have passed and they have gotten old and tattered looking and, since I never buy clothes for myself, I decided to buy some nice Victoria Secret bras and undies.

So I went on monday and, stupid me, I get the C cup in a bikini style bra. BIG mistake. I didn’t try them on at the store because by the time I got there, I was feeling hot and sweaty. Of course they didn’t fit, so I returned them on Tuesday for another style. these were still a C cup but waaaay bigger than the bikini style bras. I wore one to work yesterday and the thing was sooo uncomfortable because it was too small. If it didn’t have the underwire then it would have been comfy but still… my boobs were spilling out of them. So today I’m going back to get the next cup size up. “D”. I’ve never bought D cup bras in my life if I wasn’t pregnant. oi!

I saw a show on Oprah that was all about bras. She said most women wear the wrong size and that most women’s bra sizes change a few times in their lifetime. There is a certain way that bras are supposed to fit. They should snap together on the third hook, that way as it stretches it will still fit comfortable and not too big. The back of the bra should be even with the front (not high in the back or going up your back). Then, depending on the style, the cup should fit accordingly. You’re probably a D if that’s what fits comfortably

yeah, i exchanged the 34C’s for 36D’s today. they are all Apix, just diff colors and i tried one on and it’s perfect. :) SOO nice to have bras that FIT! my old maternity ones i’ve been wearing all this time are CRAP compared to these.
