D took my laptop this morning for work and now i’m trying to use his freakin imac but I just HATE HATE HATE the way the mouse handles on this thing. It almost seems like it’s got 2 rates of speed. One when you move normally, and the other when you’re moving slow. the slow is sloooooooooow. the ‘normal’ is ok but the slow just throws me.
GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!!!! !@#$@#%$!#$!!!!!
ALRIGHT, now that I’ve got that out…
Yesterday was not a fun day for us. We went out for breakfast and then to BJ’s to get some stuff for J’s birthday party and then to publix to order the cake. (it’s gonna be a super small party ,btw. thank god!) I didn’t even invite anybody in my family! (is that bad?)
So anyways, on the way back out to the car after ordering the cake, Dennis takes J outta the shopping cart and puts her on the ground, then she takes 2 steps towards me and didn’t realize she was on the curb. She walked right off it and fell flat on her face. I wasn’t sure if she was really hurt but she sure was screaming her little head off. Then I picked her up and saw the blood. 
Her lower lip was cut on the inside and there was a about a 1cm gash on the outside. Blood was pooling in her mouth and i thought she must have knocked a tooth out or something and that her teeth must have cut right through to the outside.
We ended up taking her to the ER. By the time a doc saw her she wasn’t crying anymore, it had stopped bleeding, and that little gash had glued itself shut. (dam, kids heal fast!!) the doc looked at it and said they’d do more damage at that point if she were to try to stitch it. So she just put a little dermabond on her cut below her lip, and that was it. the whole ordeal took us 3 hours, I think. She was real weepy after that, but she got over it around 7pm. So our plans of going home and turning on the sprinker thingy for her in the back yard and relaxing went out the window.
Btw, if anybody thinks an ER visit costs $500 with cigna hmo, you’re wrong. D & I both thought that was the case. But it was only $50. THANK GOD!
In other news, I work some weird hours between today and thursday. Something like 6pm to 2 am or whatever it is. Cuz D is in MS training. I don’t think i’m gonna like those hours.

Reply to cadetstimpywoah, that woudl have scared the crap out of me, thankfully we haven’t had anything like that happen yet. Yeah its only $500 if you’re admitted to the hospital .. I think .. I dunno.
Reply to ext_76good gollie, so glad jada healed up faster than the docs could fix her kids are great like that. lets hope you never have to experience kiddie stitches, my daughter was soo calm and cool, i was the one who lost it, they actually made ‘me’ leave the room cuz i was making it worse. So glad Jada did so well, kids are very durable all in all.

Reply to grocerynipplesso we’re only going to have like 8 people. and they’re all really local. I don’t even thing there are kids. I think for next year, tho, we’ll have something on the beach and make it a beach party and invite everybody. it’s just SOOO hot this time of year that anything outdoors would have to be by water.
