My weeked… so far

..has sucked major arse because lightning took out our cable tv and internet on friday night before I had a chance to get online for anything. I called them 30 mins after it happened and they took my info. I figured it’d be a area wide outage so i called again 2 hours later and there was a recording “eastern fl, blah blah” I was satisfied..

Next morning I called for an update and they had no record of any outage and no record that I even called. Can you beleive it?! I was so pissed, but they scheduled repair between 1-5pm. But just as I was on the can doing my bitness, the dud/ette (couldn’t tell) called and I missed it. They left a message that I should reschedule. nooooo..!!!! So I called, and the person refused to come out to the house yesterday. The best they could do was schedule me in for wednesday after 3pm. I was so pissed of you wouldn’t beleive. Dennis called them today and gave them shit, but we still haven’t heard back from them.

The miraculous thing is someone across the street got a visit from adelphia and I noticed our service was restored before they left. I guess they had the same problem as us and fixing them, fixed us too. WOOOHOOOO!!!!!! SO happy!! This means I get to play WoW tonight. ALRIGHT! :D

    This is why I stay as far away from cable companies as I can. I have never had this kind of issue with BellSouth or DirecTV. Hell when the hurricanes last year knocked my dish off of my wall they came out and fixed it for free (since with DirecTV you techincally own the equipment you have to pay for doing stupid things to your own equipment). And honesstly I have fewer outages with my DirecTV than I ever did with cable. Usually only duing a bad storm.

    well, I was (am) so pissed off that I decided we needed to switch to dsl so i called up bellsouth and now they’re saying that it’s not available to us. This after THEY came calling US offering it and saying at long last, it’s available. So we’re stuck.
