So I’m still working on getting over my latest cold, i take 2 puffs from my new inhaler (weird), take my 2 antibiotics, watch a movie, drink some nyquil wannabe, drag my drugged up ass to bed at 1 am or so, fall asleep and then it begins. I started to cough and cough and cough… Now I usually know what my limits are and make myself stop before things actually start to come up from my stomach.

But not last night.

I started to throw up in bed so I grabbed my mouth with my hand and ran to the bathroom. Now, mind you, I rarely REALLY throw up. I mean REALLY throw up so needless to say I’m outta practice here. My aim was so off it was embarrassing. It got on the bathroom rug, my jammy bottoms, the toilet seat… and I can normally control my nausea when i see such things as throw up and control the reflex to heave.

But not last night.

I kept on heaving and heaving until the pressure in my nether regions was greater than my ability to hold my urine. Being pregnant… well… it’s already a tricky task. so I peed and peed with each heave. OMG! I could see the humor in it so much i was laughing somewhere in my mind I was cracking up. But i just couldn’t get over the grossness of the throw up around me enough to laugh. The bathroom and I were a total mess. I felt as dirty as the toilet seat. BLEGH!! Now I had heard a similar story from a pregnant woman with bad “morning” sickness who couldn’t hold her bladder either. I just never though it could happen to me!
