so Dennis’ car is now a “total loss”. Still haven’t gotten the official word on mine but it’s pretty much going to be a total loss as well. Now we gotta buy a car withing a couple weeks or soon we’ll be faced with having to rent a car to get around. Especially if they haul his car away.

Having just one car is OK for a couple weeks but it’s going to start to become quite a handicap for us. I can’t ever get to work on time even if I tried. … and I tried today getting up at 6 am. we still got here at 8 cuz when I have to come to work, EVERYBODY needs to get up, shower, get dressed, eat, prep lunch (if it’s a daycare day), and so on. and when Dennis has to come to work, he’s got to come pick me up (or if i have the car, wait for me to get home) and go shopping if we need something before taking me home, then drive himself to work. I even managed to get a flat last week when I had the car. Thankfully it happened on my last turn onto our street. So he was about 2 hours late that day. uuuuh-yup, quite a pain in the rear end.

In other news, Jada celebrated her first halloween yesterday. Well, she lived thru 2 others but we never did dress her up or anything before. D and I just didn’t think she’d know enough to enjoy it before now. We trick-or-treated around the caf with the other daycare kids, she got some candy from some nice sales folks at work, even got one of those kiddie play cell phones. Then later on we took her to the mall where she got even more lollipops. Waaay more candy than she should have i think. she had about 5 lolipops and 10 chocolate minis.. needless to say we think she’s hooked on the candy. We never let her have candy before. I tried to take her candy filled pumpkin away last night but I couldn’t bare to see her crying on a kid’s holiday. So I waited till she set it down somewhere and forgot about it for a minute. LOL!

I got some pics in my other camera but i’ll post a pic tomorrow if i remember to bring it in to work.
