Dennis called one up on monday and the man came out as Dennis was, conveniently, out. (Why does he always do that?!) The man comes in and gives our garage and attic a quick once over and I recite the litany of attempts we’ve made to catch the nasty little fuckers. And then he said “well, if you’re not squeemish you can do it yourself but here’s what we do …”
Uhh ya… So what magical rabbit to they pull outta their ass? Why, the ever mystical and old fashioned wooden snapping traps of course. Four of them. In the attic. With Slim Jim for bait. How much do they charge? ah?! Oh, not much. Just a measly 295 dollars. That’s right. So I gotta ask myself ..what exactly are they charging for?! The “equipment” can’t cost more than 10 bucks. Well, they come out every other day to check the traps and lug away the dead rats. They do this for 2 weeks.
Ok ok ok… so I guess this shouldn’t be a shock in a place called Boca Raton where even the bolling alleys offer vale parking. Some people here don’t know how to park let alone have the wherewithall to setup traps and dispose of dead rodents.
So… I bought a long ass stick of Slim Jim. I’ll do it myself, thankyouverymuch!
