So… mastering this GTD stuff is going to take longer for me than a week it seems. I finally got the email organization down about 90%. (I still tend to leave things in my inbox that I need to get back to instead of just flagging, moving them to @action, or tasking them, but as long as I keep correcting myself, it’s only a matter of time.)
Now, it seems that I have a ton of action and task items and projects, but no working method of getting a clear view of what I have to work on next. It’s all in one big unorganized list of todo’s, red flags, alerts and lists. but there’s too much input for me figure out what’s next. Too much input short circuits my brain. So that’s not a good situation.
Eventually I want to get to the point where I think about these details less, I work out the kinks, it becomes second nature, and I can let all of my brain turmoil go.
