…what a disease.
It’s like some addiction where even when you know it’s not good for you, all you keep doing is putting it off and putting it off. I don’t think I was always this way. Not even in college. I remember being happy and doing my laundry every week.
I did put things off like school work but I don’t think that stuff really mattered to me much anyway. Sure I look back on those days and wish that I had been more dedicated to school and had studied harder, but I think everybody looks back on their life and wished they had tried harder and used their time better. But at least back then I feel I was a happier person. I had friends. I had fun. And more importantly, I had ambition and was hopeful for what the future could bring.

I went to my now weekly visit to my obgyn appointment today and finally got my first internal exam in months. It hurt like a mother fucker. But I got to finally know the state of my cervix. It’s 1.5 cm dialated and 50% effaced. I guess this just means I’m close, but I knew that anyway considering I’m 36.4 weeks preggo already. She did a group B strep test which is the last test I needed done.
I washed ALL J’s old baby clothes this weekend. Tomorrow I have to do more laundry but I want to pack the hospital bag and have that at the ready. I keep having this fear that I will go into labor and not have anything ready . even had a bad dream about it the other night.
I think I’ve reached and exceeded some kind of record for loads of laundry washed and folded in a single week. Let’s see… I’m now at 13 loads completed start to finish with one last load to go tonight. Well i *think* it will be the last one. Everytime I think I’m finished I find more shit needing to get washed. oops, make that 2 more loads tonight. :D
4 loads of clothes
4 loads for bathroom rugs (5 rugs total)
3 loads for comforters
2 load for pillows
1 load of sheets
1 load of sheets with more clothes
ok, what else….. there are 3 guys at the house right now cutting up our trees. 16 maybe 17 trees total (i’m always losing count). I wish I was there to see the work and to make sure they didn’t forget something to cut up a tree we want to keep!
